Architectural symbol of Florence
The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is more than just a church. It is the heart of Florence, its stone testimony to the wealth, faith and architectural genius of the Renaissance. Its silhouette rises above the city with majestic grace, and the cathedral itself is considered one of the largest in Europe.Brunelleschi’s legendary dome
It is impossible not to admire Filippo Brunelleschi’s masterpiece – its dome still amazes architects. Without a single metal frame, it has become a symbol of the engineering audacity of the 15th century. It is because of it that millions of tourists come here every year. What areas are included in Florence Cathedral?

florence cathedral reviews
Duomo tour was amazing! Victoria was a very knowledgeable tour guide and made the history of Florence come alive! Highly recommend it!!
Excellent guide. Your was good pace with great information, not too much but enough to fascinate. Loved Victoria’s passion for her city
I don’t recommend the tour or going to see the Duomo. It was very uneventful and kind of boring. The majority of the tour was standing in line.
Duomo is beautiful and our guide Victoria was superb! Her explanations were on point and she answered all our questions.
Tour guide, Alex, was informative and very vigilant on the line from visitors who try to squeeze in to get to the Cathedral quicker. I like her.
